By Order SPN 306 of 12 December 2025, in order to allow the transport of an exceptional overloaded vehicle bound for the Port of Naples, the following was ordered:
- From 10 p.m. on 16 December 2025 until the end of the activities, which will conclude no later than 6 a.m. the following day, the motorway entry and exit ramps at Naples Station will be closed to traffic.
Users travelling to Naples Station (G. Ferraris) and those travelling from Naples Station to the A3 motorway can use the alternative entrance/exit at S. Giovanni – Zona Industriale.
- Only for the time necessary to allow the exceptional convoy to pass in the opposite direction towards the port, from approximately 11 p.m. on 16 December 2025 until the end of the aforementioned transit in the opposite direction, which will conclude no later than 6 a.m. the following day, the entrance ramps from Naples Centre – Via Marina and from the Port of Naples (Varco Bausan) towards the A3 motorway will be closed to traffic.
During these times, users travelling from Naples Centre – Via Marina towards the A3 motorway can use the alternative entrance at Naples S. Giovanni – Industrial Zone.
During these days and times, vehicles exiting the Varco Bausan will be diverted onto the downhill ramp onto Via Litoranea (S. Giovanni), Via Marina dei Gigli – Via Ponte dei Granili – to reach the entrance to Naples S. Giovanni – Industrial Zone.
With Ordinance SPN 307 of 12 December 2025, in order to allow for the completion of the replacement of safety barriers at the Cava de’ Tirreni junction, the following was ordered:
- From 10 p.m. on 15 December 2025 until 6 a.m. the following day, the motorway section between the Cava de’ Tirreni and Salerno junctions will be closed to traffic in the southbound direction (Salerno).
During these days and times, users travelling from the north (Naples) to the south (Salerno) will be diverted at the Cava de’ Tirreni exit and will be able to reach the Salerno entrance via the ordinary road network of the former SS 18. At the same time, the Cava de’ Tirreni station will remain open only for vehicles travelling north (Naples).
With Ordinance SPN 308 of 12 December 2025, in order to eliminate inconvenience for users before the upcoming Christmas holidays, the following measures were ordered for the Torre Annunziata Nord – Torre del Greco section:
- From 10 p.m. on 17, 18 and 19 December until 6 a.m. on the following days, the motorway section between the Torre Annunziata Nord and Torre del Greco junctions will be closed to traffic heading north (Naples).
During these days and times, users travelling from the south (Salerno) to the north (Naples) will be diverted at the Torre Annunziata Nord exit and, via the ordinary road network of the former SS 18, will be able to reach the Torre del Greco Nord entrance. At the same time, the Torre Annunziata Nord station will remain open only for vehicles travelling south (Salerno).
- From 6 a.m. on 19 December to 10 p.m. on 31 March 2026:
- From Km 14+500 to Km 14+100 North, the northbound carriageway will be restricted by closing the emergency lane and narrowing the remaining three lanes by creating bends between Km 14+500 and Km 14+100 North, with a speed limit of 60 km/h.
- From km 14+100 to km 13+380 North, the three-lane construction site on the northbound carriageway with yellow signage and a speed limit of 80 km/h;
- At km 13+400 North, closure of the lay-by.
Therefore, as of 19 December 2025, the effects of Ordinance SPN 183/2025, which provided for the closure of the lane from km 14+900 to km 13+400 until 31 January 2026, are revoked.
With Ordinance SPN 309 of 12 December 2025, in order to allow for the redevelopment work planned at the south exit ramp of the Pompei Scavi junction (construction of a roundabout), the following measures were ordered:
- From 9 p.m. on 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 December 2025 until 6 a.m. on the following days, the exit ramp of the Pompei Scavi junction on the southbound carriageway will be closed to traffic.
During these days and times, users travelling from the north (Naples) to Pompeii Scavi can use the alternative exits at Castellammare di Stabia and Pompeii Centre – Scafati.
With Ordinance SPN 310 of 12 December 2025, in order to allow for paving work to be carried out at the Pompei Centro – Scafati junction exit, the following measures were put in place:
- From 10:00 to 16:00 on 18 December 2025, the exit ramp of the Pompei Centro Scafati junction in the northbound direction (Naples) will be closed to traffic.
During these days and times, users travelling from the south (Salerno) towards Pompei Centro Scafati can use the alternative exits at Castellammare di Stabia or Pompei Scavi.
- From 10 p.m. on 19 December 2025 to 6 a.m. the following day, the exit ramp of the Pompei Centro Scafati junction in the northbound direction (Naples) will be closed to traffic.
During these days and times, users travelling from the south (Salerno) towards Pompei Centro Scafati can use the alternative exits at Castellammare di Stabia or Pompei Scavi.

By Order SPN 287 of 26 November 2025, Order SPN 229 – 2025 was extended, stipulating:
- The extension until 6:00 a.m. on 23 December 2025 of the restriction on the south exit ramp of the Pompei Scavi junction and the restriction on the south carriageway from km 20+850 to km 22+250, by closing the emergency lane and creating a bend.
Given that this restriction may cause traffic disruption, with queues and slowdowns, motorists are advised to drive with extreme caution.
By Order SPN 288 of 26 November 2025, Order SPN 258-2025 was extended, stipulating:
- the extension of the effects of the previous SPN Ordinance 258/2025, which provides for the narrowing of the northbound motorway carriageway between km 08+320 and km 07+400 through the creation of a bend until 10 p.m. on 12/12/2025.
Given that this narrowing may cause traffic disruptions, with queues and slowdowns, motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when driving.
By Order SPN 289 of 26 November 2025, Order SPN 259-2025 was extended, stipulating:
- The extension of Ordinance SPN 259, which provides for traffic restrictions on the southbound carriageway, excluding the emergency lane, from km 19+850 to km 20+150, until 6:00 a.m. on 23 December 2025.
Given that this narrowing may cause traffic disruptions, with queues and slowdowns, motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when driving.
By Order SPN 290 of 26 November 2025, Order SPN 260-2025 was extended, stipulating:
- The extension of Ordinance SPN 260 until 6:00 a.m. on 23/12/2025, which provides for the narrowing of the carriageway through the installation of a bend from Km 43+400 to Km 42+500 North.
Given that this narrowing may cause traffic disruptions, with queues and slowdowns, motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when driving.
With Ordinance SPN 296 of 3 December 2025, in order to allow the installation of noise barriers to continue, the following was ordered:
- The extension of Ordinance SPN 199-2025, stipulating until 6:00 a.m. on 31 January 2026, the narrowing of the southbound motorway carriageway between km 14+150 and km 14+600, by closing the emergency lane and creating a bend. All in accordance with the plan with signage attached hereto.
Given that this narrowing may cause traffic disruptions, with queues and slowdowns, motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when driving.
With Ordinance SPN 271 of 30 October 2025, in order to mitigate the critical issues present from Km 01+850 to Km 03+200 North and South, given that there is a speed limit of 80 km/h on the section covered by the report, and also considering that the section in question is affected by several junctions at the entrance and exit, the following has been ordered:
- Con l’ordinanza SPN 271 del 30 ottobre 2025, al fine di mitigare le criticità presenti dal km 01+850 al km 03+200 Nord e Sud, dato che sul tratto oggetto della relazione è in vigore un limite di velocità di 80 km/h e considerando inoltre che il tratto in questione è interessato da diversi svincoli in entrata e in uscita, è stato disposto quanto segue:
In view of the speed limit imposed, motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when driving.
By Order SPN 228 of 29 September 2025, Order SPN 135 of 20 June 2025 was extended, stipulating:
- until 31 December 2025, the narrowing of the exit ramp from the A3 motorway at Napoli Stazione from km 00+650 to km 00+500 North.
Given that this restriction may cause traffic disruption, with queues and slowdowns, motorists are advised to drive with extreme caution.
By Order SPN 198 of 12 September 2025, in order to continue the work of upgrading the safety barriers at the Pompei Centro – Scafati junction, it was ordered that
Ø The extension of Ordinance SPN 162/2025 until 6:00 a.m. on 31 December 2025, which provides for the narrowing of the north exit ramp of the Pompei Centro Scafati junction.
Considering that this narrowing may cause traffic disruptions, motorists travelling on vehicles exiting at Cava de’ Tirreni are advised to exercise extreme caution when driving.
By Order SPN 199 of 12 September 2025, in order to allow modernisation works from km 12+900 to km 17+085, the following is ordered:
- From 6:00 a.m. on the 18th to 6:00 a.m. on the 15th of December 2025, the southbound carriageway of the motorway will be narrowed between km 14+150 and km 14+600, with the emergency lane closed and a bend created. All in accordance with the floor plan with signage attached hereto.
Motorway users travelling on the section between the Torre del Greco and Torre Annunziata Nord junctions are advised to exercise extreme caution when driving their vehicles.
By Order SPN 161 of 24 July 2025, in order to allow maintenance work to be carried out on motorway safety barriers, the following was ordered:
Ø The extension of Ordinance SPN 115/2025 by narrowing the deceleration lane on the southbound carriageway of the Cava de’ Tirreni junction until 6:00 a.m. on 31 December 2025.
201 of the Highway Code, concerning overweight vehicles, the effects of Ordinance SPN 190/2024 have been extended until 31/12/2025 by introducing a ban on vehicles weighing more than 40 tonnes from midnight to midnight, on the following motorway sections:With Ordinance SPN 133 of 20 June 2025, in order to safely preserve the viaducts on the motorway section between Nocera Inferiore and Salerno, pending approval of the system that will also allow automatic remote penalties, pursuant to Art. 201 of the Highway Code, concerning overweight vehicles, the effects of Ordinance SPN 190/2024 have been extended until 31/12/2025 by introducing a ban on vehicles weighing more than 40 tonnes from midnight to midnight, on the following motorway sections:
- On the southbound carriageway, for vehicles coming from the north, from km 37+000 to km 51+600 (section between the Nocera Inferiore and Salerno junctions);
- In carreggiata nord, per i veicoli provenienti da Sud, dal Km 51+600 al Km 42+800 (Tratta compresa tra gli svincoli di Salerno e Cava de’ Tirreni).
For the above reasons, during the period indicated above, vehicles weighing more than 40 tonnes are prohibited from accessing the motorway network on the southbound carriageway (towards SA) from the Nocera Inferiore and Cava de’ Tirreni junctions and on the northbound carriageway (towards NA) from the Salerno and Vietri Sul Mare junctions.
This Ordinance therefore extends the weight limits imposed by the MOT ‘Monitoraggio Over load su Tratta’ (Overload Monitoring on Route) experimental system.
By Order SPN 134 of 20 June 2025, the effects of Order SPN 21 issued following the security checks carried out are extended. Therefore, the following has been ordered:
- until 10 p.m. on 31 December 2025, the narrowing to 5.45 metres of the one-way ramp connecting the entrance to Naples Centre – Via Marina and Naples Port with Via Gen. Francesco Sponzilli in the Municipality of Naples
During these days and times, this ramp will not be accessible to exceptional transport exceeding the legal width, length and weight limits.
